NMSBA now with more potential per project...

July 1st, 2019--The New Mexico Small Business Assistance (NMSBA) Program is now able to provide more services to NM companies working to solve challenges with assistance from Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories, UNM, NMT, NMSU, and the New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Thanks to changes to the Laboratory Partnership with Small Business Tax Credit Act, businesses in urban counties (Bernalillo & Santa Fe) can now receive $20,000 and businesses in rural counties can receive $40,000 of technical assistance.

The NMSBA Program provides New Mexico small businesses facing technical challenges access to the unique expertise and capabilities of Los Alamos and Sandia national laboratories. At no cost to the business, small businesses can seek assistance from lab scientists and engineers to solve challenges and overcome barriers to company success. This assistance (now doubled) is available at no cost to the business.
